About me…..
I work face-to-face from an easily accessible room in Eastleigh, minutes from both the M27 and the M3 , as well as via Zoom and telephone with adults 18+.
I am an experienced person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist and have worked within several different settings in both long and short-term therapy.
I have a special interest in the menopause after having premature ovarian insufficiency in my early 30’s. I can offer you emotional support for what the menopause means for you as everyone's experience of the menopause will be unique to them. Please see my menopause page.
I also have family and counselling experience with people who are or suspect themselves to be neurodivergent. I have completed extra training around this, but always hold in mind that I meet you as the unique individual you are whilst exploring what it means for you.
Counselling can be a wonderful time to feel truly heard and understood, whether you have a specific problem or just wish to gain some clarity of thoughts and feelings you may be having. The relationship between you and myself is important, for this reason, I offer a free 20-minute initial phone call, so we can get to know each other and you can decide if I am the right fit for you.
My aim…..
I hope to collaboratively build a relationship with you, where you feel deeply heard, validated and safe to bring whatever you choose, free of judgement and safe in the knowledge that it is confidential.
I aim to do this by following your lead. You are in the driving seat and direct what we speak about, with me helping to navigate any bumps we come across on the way. By working together and you having time to tell your story and express your thoughts and feelings, I can help you reflect and make sense of your world, which hopefully empowers you and leads you to have more understanding and control of your life and make any changes if you wish to.
I will hold space for all parts of you, with warmth and compassion, allowing you space and time to explore any aspects of your life you may wish to look at, and reach your own answers.
What can I help with?
Neurodivergence
Anxiety
Depression
Low self-esteem
Life changes/challenges

Loss/Bereavement
This is not an exhaustive list, please contact me to see if I am the right fit for you.
